3.5″ Aluminum Exhaust for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

This was an interesting request from a great friend and customer in New Jersey.  On paper, aluminum isn’t a great candidate for exhaust work, however, over the last few years I’ve seen aluminum exhaust show up on lots of drag cars with a few systems on street cars, as well.  My customer said he wanted a super lightweight, aluminum, 3.5″ system for his street/strip Evo.  I was leary about doing it, but he was insistent.   The customer is always right…  Anyway,  he got what he wanted, and I’m happy to say that the 11lbs, aluminum exhaust has held up for 2.5yrs on an 845whp Evo.
